I guess the one thing I will say is give them an out.
If you're really worried about being rejected, then make sure that they know it it doesn't matter how you feel, our friendship's valuable to me.
I'm going to try and make this work no matter what, so that that it's not a sort of uh
you know, one way street and it's not something that eas either make or break.
So I would say look at your friends' history.
How do they handle emotional issues?
Are they good at talking about feelings?
How have they handled other relationships in the past?
Have they cut and run?
Or have they been able to sit through the hard stuff?
And, you know, things like are they friends with their exes?
That's a really good sign of someone who's emotionally maturing.
enough to be able to form a friendship after some uncomfortable feelings or some uh rejections.
Look, in my experience with couples that have gone through this, everyone else knows before you do.
So most of the time people are are relatively not shocked when you turn to them and say, We've decided to be a couple But uh I guess, you know, it's as different as the couples involved.
You could put it on Facebook.
Uh come out at a party with your friends.
Have a have have a we're together party.
Anything's possible.
Yeah.
