So there are services which are bulk billing, GP clinics, for example.

You can get mental health care plans, which will cover quite a lot of any of the psychological support that you might need.

So it needn't be incredibly expensive, but there is usually a waiting list for those sorts of services.

So if you want to move quicker,

You'd need to, for example, find a GP, make the gap payments, go and see a psychologist, possibly several times, and you'd be paying for that.

So it's not cheap, it's not free in most cases.

Yeah, there's a number of, again, it sort of can go in stages.

So some things are fairly easy.

You can go to births, deaths and marriages and change your name.

And it costs $100 or something, whatever.

And you probably can get a discount, I think, if you're actually having treatment for transitioning.

So again, depends which state you're in.

So you can change your name.

And in many cases, changing your sort of driver's license.

Many states do not have gender on the driver's licenses anyway, but they do have it on their records.

But if you're having, if you're under the care of a psychologist, you can usually get a letter, get that changed.

Medicare, Centrelink, those sorts of things, again, with the support of a psychologist and a doctor, you can usually get all of those sorts of gender markers changed.

So you can do most of it.

In some states, you can change your marker on your birth certificate.
