We can feel it.

I have the capacity within my body to feel that.

So then, oh, my brain doesn't have to send me signals of anxiety or pain or illness.

That's the deeper emotional work.

Exactly.

Because so much of our nervous system is running off of the past.

And I mean, like I said, I've been on this, I've been in therapy since I was like 15.

I've talked about my traumas.

Like I know a lot.

But it wasn't until I really understood that that I actually allowed myself to go there with support, right?

I couldn't just sit on my couch and do that myself.

I have had wonderful mentors and support systems that helped me do that, provide that space.

And then when I can feel that and also co-regulate with someone in safety...

my body allow, it's scary, but like, I feel those things that I didn't allow myself to in a safe, wise body that I have now.
