I could show up an hour away and still be number one because there's nothing else that Google can show as an alternate.
But if you're talking about coffee shops or dry cleaners or plastic surgeons or, you know, like dentists, like we just said, as a dentist, you probably only care about showing up at a five-mile radius.
You don't care if you show up 20 miles away because there's 50 other dentists in the next 15.

So it's kind of influenced by your particular vertical and the density of competition.

Uh so the most important thing to put in the show notes is I have a weekly video series called Local Search Tuesdays.
Comes out every Tuesday.
Typically it's a short three to five minute video on one particular either update to local SEO or one particular tactic or strategy that you can use.
But I also periodically will share entire conference presentations when I get back from a conference.
Like in a few weeks, I just got back from engage.
Last week in Portland.
So I'll share my entire presentation from that.
And then my podcast is just a question and answer format podcast.
It's the Local Marketing Institute QA live.
It's a big mouthful.
But uh we get together twice a month and we just every two weeks we collect questions and then we show up.
And the format of the show is the first five to ten minutes we talk about news of anything that's important that's happened in the last two weeks.
Then it's usually about
About 20 minutes of answering questions that have either been pre-submitted or that were left over from the last episode.
