And then the last half hour is live audits and live questions from the audience.
So it's a really great way to stay up to date with local SEO and what's going on and to get really specific help from experts because you can just show up for the show and ask for a live audit and we do it for free.
So it's pretty cool.
Yeah, really when it like I said at the very beginning, if you're trying to do link building in local, you really have to unlearn most of what you learned about link building.
And you do need to use those analysis tools, but you do have to kind of take them with a grain of salt because I think people tend to forget that all of these tools that we use to do SEO are designed to be generalist tools.
They need to apply.
To as many people as possible, because if it was a super, super specific tool, then not that many people are going to buy the tool.
So, of course, the tool people want to make it broad so that everyone can use it.
And you have to realize that these tools are built off of what those tool creators know about Google's traditional algorithm.
They're not designed around local SEOs.
So always keep that in mind.
The volumes that
you see are not good, you know, keyword volume, stuff like that is not going to be accurate because you're just talking about a local area.
The authority metrics aren't going to be accurate.
The toxicity scores are not going to be accurate.
So take everything with a grain of salt if you're doing local link building and realize that you gotta understand how the local algorithm is different.
So you're still able to use those tools effectively and just kind of ignore the pieces that would be distracting otherwise.
Yeah, and like the really important thing that I always try to drive home to people too is to just remember that Google is simply a pattern detection program.
Sure, it does a lot of other things, but at the root, all it really does is it classifies patterns.
It identifies and classifies patterns.
