Trying to get buy in from them is extremely important as far as using your viability and seeing how you can leverage SEO as much as possible so for some of their products.
Even when, you know, when I worked back in uh agency setting, a lot of the
managers I would work with were saying, How can I get, you know, the VP of sales or the VP of marketing to to buy in more into our organic search?
And I'm like, well, you know, we can showcase or give a case study on how efficient their dollar is used, how much traffic is getting generated to the site, how much qualified traffic is getting generated to the site, trying to build KPIs around
How
it is being perceived and how, you know, we can extrapolate that information and then retarget some of those individuals later down the line for something like programmatic or paid search or even, you know, paid social.
getting and speaking the stakeholders language for them is I think a crucial part of SEO is
you're going into, you know, your medium to enterprise size businesses.

Definitely you want to use their medium of communication.
Typically that's gonna be either Teams in a very c short and concise manner or using slide decks.
I know most SEOs would like to just put things on a spreadsheet or put things in a Google Doc and just list out the important bits on how they can improve their site a whole bunch.
or how that they can get X amount of more dollars.

comprehensive way you can start to get buy in from your stakeholders.
Another thing I would say is understanding what they define as a KPI.
I know in organic we may say, oh, you know, your CTR is pretty good or your bounce rate is pretty low while you know, the stakeholder or the project manager would be like, Well no, we need, you know, conversions as far as clicks
on carts or how many people are downloading some of our PDFs for our products.
or how many people are interacting with our chat bot.
That's what we define as a perversion.
