In my mind, there was no way I was not playing.

Whatever I had to do, I was going to be out there.

The mindset, you know, I got a taste of it years ago, and, man, is it fun.

It's the best time of the year.

You fight all year for this, and, you know, I was told early on that you got to savor it because you never know if you'll be back.

And I kind of chuckled at it early on because I was like, oh, yeah, you know, I'll be back, I'll be back.

And then five years went by, and I hadn't seen playoffs.

So you want to play in these moments.

You want to play in these games because...

It makes everything worth it.

All the bumps, bruises, all the training, all the hours spent away from the family, doing things that your friends aren't doing because you've got something you're chasing.

So it's great to be a part of it.

And really, it's all about just going out there and competing with these guys.

That's really all it comes down to is having fun doing that.
