You know, people are and I'm probab I'm generalizing, right?
So obviously this doesn't apply to you, audience listener, uh, but like people are very torn between the right acronym or whether AI Surge is like, you know, whether it's just old SEO and a new dress or whether it's something completely new, and like none of these questions, none of these questions matter that much, you know, like uh
So I feel like we're kind of a little stuck in old ways.
And look, like it I get it.
The longer you are in a game, the harder it's to adapt to new rules, but uh stuck is what comes to mind.
I say both?

If I had to choose, I would say probably uh you know measuring AI mode and AI overviews.
I really think that's where the game is going.
Okay.
And I also like to still look at keyword ranks because it is a directional signal for how visible you might be in any AI surface, right?
So for example.
Bing uh keyword ranks, it's like no nobody's tracking those.
I think they're now incredibly valuable because ChatGPT grounds their answers on Bing search results.
And so, you know, to some degree they matter still, but not as a goal and much more as like a directional signal.
