At that point, I had one small kid.

So I was just thinking of this as some extra income.

And then when I had my second daughter is when things kind of really started to get serious with it.

I built this business on the side when I was on maternity leave, which two kids under two plus building a business and not sleeping.

It was an interesting time.

And I questioned why I was doing it at all times.

But looking back on it, I'm so thankful that I decided to do that.

And then

At that point, I was making, you know, right before COVID hit, I was making just as much money in my side business as I was at the hospital.

But there was just a security with health insurance and all those pieces.

And I am not a risk taker, which we can dive into if you want to.

Like I am, you know, I'll go watch people gamble, but it's my money.

I'm hanging on to it.

So I waited until the pandemic hit and my business continued to grow and continue to thrive before I was like, OK, this can be my full time career now.

I can pull the plug on my day job and go all in on this business.

I didn't have a whole lot of support, to be honest.

People in my family were kind of like, what are you doing?

Like, you know, so I was kind of blind to trying to figure out how to make this work.

And, you

You know, an undergrad in nutrition and a master's in nutrition doesn't prepare you to be a business owner.
