Well, I'm not a little baby or a child anymore, but this person who is problematic offers me that sometimes in an intermittent fashion and get this sort of intermittent reward.
Ah, today was a good day.
The last week's been awful, but maybe this is the start of something really, really good.
And it's to be able to step back and reflect on this and say, yeah, there's a real pattern here that I need to see if I can shake.
And yeah, I am drawn to it.
It feels slightly addictive and I feel a bit lonesome sometimes without that.
I want to go back to something you mentioned, Krisha, about instincts and how important it is to trust that instinct.
It's so often proven true in retrospect when you say, oh, look, all the red flags were there.
All the red flags were there.
And it's an attitudinal thing and it's a practice to say, okay, what am I feeling about this person?
Do I trust them?
Do I feel safe?
Do I feel enough comfort in there and enough warmth to be spending this time with them?
I'm a little wary of the bad language, the use of the word of a bad person.
This isn't about being a good person or a bad person.
That's right.
This is about a dynamic that is not good, a bad dynamic.
So I'd really like to sort of hear more from Ash about what's so bad about them, that they're calling up with that sort of label for themselves.
