Because we appreciate that there's something out there that we can both enjoy and sink our teeth into, literally, as a way of marking the moment without marking it with a door slam or without marking it with somebody crying or something.

It's interesting to talk to couples about that research and say two-thirds of your issues are perpetual and to see if they find that encouraging or discouraging.
