Um and look as a football club we're quite proud of him of of what he's been able to achieve and and the playing group and the staff as a whole um are quite proud of him. So we'll we'll look to s have conversations with Jamar in the next little bit around uh potentially what twenty twenty seven can look like.

But it's good to to know at this stage of the twenty twenty six period, trade wise, that he's going to be at least on a list.
How that looks, what money he gets to be there, I don't know. But at least he's got a chance to continue the the AFL dream that did seem to be uh disappearing at various stages.

Uh, good afternoon, gentlemen. Um, I just wanted to know if anyone's pressed uh Greg Swann at all on the reasoning behind not waiting until the most uh uh compromise draft in a decade for next year. Why were these rules not pushed back to then? Because all that's happened is they've hurt the blues, um, the power and and the bombers when they've all got these academy and father son bidding um bidding uh picks to match. But there I mean, I'd argue that they're clubs that aren't in the best position as far as uh s uh success goes. So They're hurting the clubs. Uh, by not delaying it. Like surely they could have pushed it till Tazzy, no?
Look, I I I don't mind that uh as an example and uh and as as an idea. As I said, I I think the to your point, the the biggest issue's been the fact that giving the clubs enough runway to work this through. And I feel that, yeah, Tazzy probably might have been a really good situation, John know, where you could have said, Right, this is where uh we're gonna have these players enter the competition, these are gonna be the new rules. This is how it's all going to work. Probably even look at our talent pathway to some degree as well. Um, and how that looks and how we can streamline that to make sure that we're seeing the best of uh the younger players coming through as well. But that's a that's a different conversation.
But this one, absolutely, I I think that could have been a really good opportunity and I think it's a really good shout.

I think the I honestly think the the value of these individual players, Academy or Father Sons at the top end, it's it's just out of it's out of whack.
