If you're ready, to take off that busy badge of honor and finally take control over life's chaos, then let's take this journey together as we learn how to balance it. Hello my friends and welcome back to another episode of the Balance It Method podcast. I'm your host, Tamara, and if this is your first time tuning into the show, welcome my friends. This is the place where us working mons are all coming together to talk about all the things that we have piling up on that.
to-do list and we figure out ways to be able to get them done without burning ourselves into the ground while we're doing it. And we're gonna jump right in and get right to the point today because we have a lot to talk about. I really wanted to do this episode because we are in one of the most busiest times of year for a mom at least where we are in the world and uh it's what I like to call June Sember, which is basically the The December of the beginning of summer because there's so much going on leading up to summer break for the kids. And it starts to become really clear when we don't have systems in place at this time of year. It starts to become really clear that our structure that we may have been using throughout the year might not actually be as supportive as we thought it.
it was. And so this is a great time to kind of adjust and look at uh the way things that r ran throughout the year and see if something else might work instead. So we're gonna talk about what I believe are the five things that every working mom needs to have in place to be able to have a stress less week ahead. Now, notice I'm saying stress less, it's not removing all the stress, it's not removing all of the chaos, it's not making everything perfect and sunshine and rainbows. What this is doing is if you just It properly, it is going to make you feel supported so that you can have less stress, less curveballs coming at you, less moments of forgetting things and letting things fall through the cracks.
We got a lot of things we're juggling. We all know that we're juggling a lot of things, and this is the only way I believe to be able to get on top of those things and still feel like a human. human human being on the other side of it. You can hustle really hard. You can do pro uh productive work all day, every day and just produce, produce, produce. But that doesn't feel very good at the end of the week, right? And even when you're doing that, it still sometimes doesn't feel good with what you're producing because you're not able often to complete those things because of all of the unpredictable curveballs that are flying at you because your kid got sick in the middle of the week, because an unexpected meeting showed up.
um for this thing that you volunteer for, for all of these extra things that might come at you and then that to do list that we live by, that we live and breathe by as working moms. starts to fall apart because you're not able to get it done and then you're rewriting the same things over and over and over again and it's just pure bananas, if you ask me. So anyway, let's get into the five things that we can do to stay on top of our week so that our week doesn't feel so stressful.
