it. I was like, speaking of chronically online, I've become addicted to a new game on my phone. I'm not typically a phone game person, really. Like I do the New York Times word games. That's kind of it. But then I sometimes like to dabble in a bit of a quiz. So I remembered the Who Wants to Be Millionaire app exists.
I was like,
I'll give that a go. And it is, of course, beset by ads. And it showed me an ad. And some of the ads let you have a little go at the game. Oh, yeah, yeah. That's how they get you. And so I was, and then it was, it was kind of a, you know, you're kind of sliding drinks up and then they merge with other drinks. Oh, I played that game. Bigger drinks. So I was like, I'm going to download this. I'm going to play it for 20 minutes and then that will be that. So I downloaded the game. It's free. And it wasn't the same game. It's free at the start. The first one is free. It was a different game, but like with similar graphics. Uh-huh. And I was like, no, no, I want the throwing drinks game. But obviously I got sucked in to the game I had downloaded.
And it's been two days. I've spent money to buy, actually they're lightning bolts, not gems,
now that I look at
them. And this has happened to me before. Like once or twice, like over the years, I've fallen into a game hole and had to pull myself back in. Much like a
kale.

And the first day it gives you like two extra events where you can earn extra lightning bolts. And I just opened it there for the first time today. And it has offered me 13 new events. And you have to click through them all. And then it said, here's a present box, but you have to open it in the next 30 minutes, which is why I started panicking because... What if you don't get your presents? I can't find the present box. I don't know where it's gone.

said the better. We'll carry on. Eimear MacLeysen and I both have succumbed to internet addiction. There's absolutely no denying that. I do find it funny, like I always think it's funny that you were initially resistant to the internet. Yeah, when I was a teenager, when at first, do you remember in school? Well, at my age in school, like the internet was kept in one room, the computer
room.
And you went in and you were allowed to use a bit of internet. And you were like, isn't that mad? You can type something and then press and then it appears on something. Yeah. I was when I learned about the internet I was like there's too much of it and the idea that you can look up anything in the world was too much for my brain because I was like if I can look up anything in the world I will simply never stop looking things up yes so I was like it's best for me to stay away from the internet And funnily enough, that turned out to be true. Yeah. Yeah. Turns out I was quite prescient. And I do believe I invented YouTube at least 10 years before YouTube was actually invented. How unfortunate that you didn't actually invent it.
