And I just want to sort of get you into the headspace of if the French test was on the weekend and the Ireland test was the first test, just imagine how you might be feeling if we'd played France like we did against Ireland and then we played Ireland like we did against France. but it's not, it's the other way around. look i think there's been major areas of improvement without a doubt we needed to though um you know we were playing helter scout of football weren't we in that first game uh with no real plan b we talked a lot on this show about at times just maybe needing to kick a little bit more for territory and then being a little bit more direct going back to those basic rules that you win the game up front getting good post contact meters and so there were some big improvements look Look, I think the pleasing thing that came out of the test against Ireland for me is, and I've always been a big believer, even though I do contradict myself regarding hybrids, but Tupu Vai to me is our sixth going forward.
And I genuinely believe that. And really good to see Quintu Paia do what he did on the weekend at centre. I think he will now be the sixth going forward. Hopefully he can consistently put out the performance we saw on the weekend. and get rid of any yips that we saw maybe against the French in that very first test. Look, I'll get John to have his say on it, but I do have some areas still of concern that I saw in that Ireland test that I still think need to be addressed if we are to win that tour in South Africa.
