Chapter 2: What is the main topic of SHOT Show 2026?
Walker Defense, where American ingenuity meets bleeding-edge technology. Now, our Walker Defense product of the week this week is the Nero 762. So if you've got a .30 cal and need a fantastic muzzle brake, that might just be the one for you. If you use code INSIDER15, you'll get 15% off everything at walkerdr.com.
Now, of course, this show is going to be a little different today because we're into what we did in firearms, and that's pretty much the whole show. So, you know, we'll just move on, get going, see what we can do. Don't forget our sponsor, bandwidth sponsor, Patriot Patch Co. They make cool patches, Patch of the Month Club. You need to join it.
You get cool stickers and patches like the one I'm showing up here. I don't know. It's like a... Cookie Monster Abominable Snowman or something eating a person or something. I don't know what it is, but it's pretty sweet. Also, and we did see the guy who designs these at SHOT Show. So we harassed him at various times.
And we hanged up on him at other times.
Exactly. And don't forget to check out the Pew dot report. There's tons of news over there. I mean, I've been known to pull stories out of there of what we're going to talk about, stuff like that. But Sean's doing a great job over there, and they got a ton of SHOT Show coverage. So if you're tired of listening to us, you can go check it out over there. And, of course, affiliates, discounts.
You can find them on the website at firearmsinsider.tv. You can find them in the show notes at firearmsradio.net. Basically, they're all over the place. Hopefully, your podcast player has a link to them also. So the links, you can listen. You can click on them if you want to look at what we're looking at. All that kind of stuff. Oh, and it's Rob's turn. We're already down to Rob.
And Robert Smith, it's time for him to read the disclaimer. And we're going to have him read the primary arms ad, even though it's just right after the other one. But it doesn't matter.
Oh, my gosh. Yeah. That's too much to do. Oh, my God. What am I going to do, Chad?

Chapter 3: What innovative products did Walker Defense showcase?
Did you do anything in guns last week? I forgot.
No, we haven't got there yet.

Man, we could get rid of that last sentence because we don't have any more live shows.
Well, yeah, I know.
But it's nostalgia, right?
Yeah.

Chapter 4: How did the co-hosts experience the SHOT Show?
And what these guys do, they don't actually make a firearm. They just finish them. But they do some fantastic coating, anodizing. You can get camo-like, DLC-coated firearms, slides, etc. I don't know. They had a few guns there that were just spectacularly beautiful. I know. I don't know if Rusty or Rob saw them. Tony did. They got some really awesome camo slides. They had a 2011.
I don't remember who made it. It was like gold DLC or something. PVD gold. And it was just gorgeous. I know Tony saw it. Took a few pictures of it.
was that the one with the uh they also had the revolver yes yes they also had the revolver and then they had that was a kimber yeah they had the kimber uh 2311 20k 11 or i don't remember yeah whatever um yeah they had that it was like that was the one i pointed at first and then i saw the revolver the python and i was like oh my god
Yeah, was the Python gold or was it blue?
No, the Python was that changing color blue PVC.
Yeah, rainbow PVC. It was gorgeous. Yeah, they do PV decoding and the slides that were there were gorgeous. They had a camo pattern. They laser etch it and then they camo it. They were just amazing. Now, of course, the prices, they are not cheap. But they were awesome. And Tony will vouch for it. In fact, it was one of the coolest, really the coolest looking things I saw at SHOT Show.
I mean, there's a lot of cool stuff, but this was just expert work. So where were they, Chad? They were in the supplier showcase.
oh okay yeah okay which makes sense because they're a finishing company so yeah but it's just look at their website man they got some cool crap oh yeah and the website doesn't even do justice for what it looks like in real life i thought these guys would do the desert eagle looks like a nintendo blaster Oh, probably not because they don't do Cerakote. It's all PVD coatings.
So I don't think it's any Cerakote. But, you know, some of the blues and purples and stuff they can do is just amazing. So that's the first one I came up with. I guess, Rusty, we'll do yours next, your first one, just because we might as well just change it up some. The show might go short, might go long. Who knows?

Chapter 5: What firearms were highlighted at SHOT Show 2026?
Just took it out, and him and a few of the other instructors from the Atlanta area just sat there and ran magazine after magazine all through it with no stoppages, with over 3,000 rounds in the compact pistol.
Yeah, and I loved the RM-1C they sent me. In fact, I'm going to try to get one of these, too, but... Yeah, I went over there Wednesday because I knew this was out or they brought it out Tuesday.
And I was like, oh, I got to go see that because I was super thrilled they brought out the full size because I'm like, I wish they would have brought the full size out before the compact, but I understand that the subcompact is a carry gun and sells more.
Are these a modular –
correct where you can pull if you know they are not they don't no it's it's built in they don't have a chassis type system or a fire control unit there it's all built in but yeah i was you saw these guys on wednesday yeah that must have been right before you and i i found you on the in the basement
It might have been because I was there and Tony was like half a row over because as I was leaving, Tony was walking up.
Yeah, we were roaming at the same time down the basement.
But yeah, I mean, Ross Martin makes a really good pistol. And I was super excited about the full size, especially like Tony. The tactical is just sweet.
Yeah. Hey, Robert. Robert, let your aunt know about the Ross Martin, since it's an American-made pistol.
