And I think fresh blood in your squad always just brings that air of optimism to everybody and tells everybody that you're serious about winning. making an impact in the competition. And I think Cronulla now, the reason they might not have done it this year is they might have had a few salary cap issues. They are paying a little bit of overs for a couple of players. So losing Katoa and Ramian is certainly going to free up some money. And I dare say that they'll get out in the market next year. Obviously, McGuinness is gone as well. So there's going to be a bit of money around. So they'll get out in the market pretty soon.
The other thing, big thing for the Sharks is Braden Trindle goes up big next year. His contract goes up significantly next year. So they're going to need to find some extra money for him. They've got two halves on big money now.
Yeah, and that can be its own problem. As we've stated countless times, sometimes it's what you're paying. It's not who you've got. It's what you're paying that's most important.
One of those halves, Nico Hines, is out this weekend. So it'll be a good test for Trindle. You know, that's kind of what they need to see, what he's made of, obviously. They know, but, I mean, it's just a good opportunity for him.
