You know, like you struggled to score. Your power play was no good. I don't think you guys scored at home in the first four months of the power play. you got you're never out of a game now you guys can score you got a couple of best rookie scorers i mean really they don't count samansky as a rookie because he played in europe or mariala but you've got some impressive newcomers that have kind of changed the dynamic for your club down there haven't they yeah it's a completely different uh team we were you know we're you know defensive you know power forward type of team last year and uh
You know, just all the players that were brought in there, you know, how they helped their teams where they were offensive. So, you know, we as coaches had to embrace that and then play that brand style of play of just, you know, constantly attacking. So, yeah, like you said, we're never out of games. uh power play's been been excellent and um you know and we're growing those areas uh you know you and i have talked many many times online and offline just about you know you know playing a man's game and that sort of stuff and uh you know they're learning they're learning that part of it as well uh yeah you got the third best power play in the league so so that's a good thing uh you do get connor klattenberg back how quickly like is he going to be playing this weekend
Yeah, he practiced today, and he'll be in the lineup tomorrow. So I'm excited to have him. He brings something, you know, the dinosaur term, and he brings an element that we don't really have with this group. And, you know, he's got some silky hands, too. You know, he can play. He's got lots of learning to do. But he's got a lot of heart. He's definitely a throwback Bob Stauffer back in the day type of guy. Okay.
Well, you've obviously been talking to Guy Godelski. That's greatly overrated. I wasn't even tough enough to play in the Western League. There you go. But I will say this. I do have an appreciation for it. And I also have appreciation for organizations dealing with it. Conor Clattenburg came up for the game against Florida. And I look at, I think John Cooper is one of the best coaches in the league. And Tampa Bay got tired of the crap with Florida. I mean, Brandon Hagel's been injured three times by the Florida Panthers. And they've made sure they went out and got Douglas on waivers. Utah put Curtis Douglas on waivers. They've got Scott Sabourin. I know he got dropped the other night in a fight with Arbor Jack guy.
But those two guys play every game against Florida.

And guess what? The Oilers have a game here. against Florida in March, and I want Glattenberg back up for that game. I just thought that he's the perfect guy to play against the Florida Panthers.
