Brendan, this'll be a a question we can ask the listeners right from the get go here. The owners have given up uh exactly three goals against over the course of the last three games. Here's the beauty of this show, in fact all shows. It's kinda like politics, okay? I'm never gonna tell you who to vote for. Just vote.
Which players recorded three‑point games and how did they impact the victory?
Okay? That way you can't say that you weren't at least involved a little bit in the process. You can you know, this show's called Oiders now. The team is called the Edmonton Oiders. Figure it out. Obviously, uh I support oil and gas and the various industries that are uh tied to that as well. And I'm not w a guy that uh lets people uh look down and that sort of thing at Alberta and how we are out here. I actually think this is a place of uh great opportunity and uh and positive in outlook. But you were allowed to have whatever opinion you want politically, social issues, and for that matter, on the hockey team. You don't have to agree with what I might say. But Brendan, we had Chris Pronger on yesterday.
Six years, he said, six years for a defenseman before you know what you got, Evan Bouchard's in year four. Uh Stuart Skinner, his third full season as a starting goaltender. He wasn't even supposed to be the starting goaltender. And we have all these people at ah, that's you know, forget about Bouchard, forget about Skinner. How about you dig in a bit on your own drafted and developed players and understand that there's gonna be some rough moments and rough patches? Like how many of you out there have had some challenges in your own personal life? And you need to stick with it and grind it out, instead of just sitting there putting your head in the sand and quitting. Come on, man. Be better than that.
What do you think, Brendan? Am I out to lunch or what's going on? I'm trying to
follow.
It's a wide ranging conversation. Yes. I've asked you nineteen questions. Please comment on all of them.
Um, yeah, these you can't make him the whipping boy because these are the guys that brought you to the dance as recently as last year, right? So when it comes to Bouchard, when it comes to Skinner, and we didn't see Skinner last night. It was a great game from Pickard when he had to be great. Uh it wasn't called upon often, but he was called upon against uh against Utah.
