Why'd you pick that uh for the opening song?
Yeah, I thought that was kind of fitting because yesterday as we were watching the game we saw Chad Smith in the audience who is the drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers and let me tell you, Bob, he did not look very happy. There was one point I can't remember if it was Lou or Jack that commented that Chad Smith and Will Farrell actually look alike, and the more that I think about that, they really do, so I figured that was pretty fitting for today.
Well, you know it doesn't look like uh the Evans and Oilers team that left Los Angeles down two nothing and the Evans and Oilers team that left Los Angeles uh y you know, today with a three two series lead, just like all of you suggested. Yeah, and they had some good performances through a a stretch there at one point in the season. And you wondered where some of that had gone, the complete effort that we saw last night. Like there was a point in the game early enough. I'm looking at the shot clock thinking, man, you know, ten nothing, eleven nothing, whatever it got up to. And that really never ceased throughout the course of the game. So the foot stayed on the gas pedal and uh I'm really impressed by what they've been able to do to break down that ugly neutral zone that LA plays with.
Well, they tried to they tried to fore check a bit uh w in the second shift of the game. They sent the the second forward in from the neutral zone and they got caught in transition. The Oilers, according to natural statric, the uh scoring the high danger scoring chances in the first period were seven nothing for the Oilers. Like they just blitzed LA.
