Yeah, I mean listen, I think he said out loud what was always understood because we asked Harry Bettman and Bill Daly at the Board of Governors meeting in October. We asked Then again, after the GMs meeting November tenth in Toronto, what happens if the rink isn't done? And the answer is there there is no plan B. So th th this is just a continuation of what was always understood is that this rink has got to be built. There is no magical uh Landy Arena waiting in the wing somewhere else to hold this tournament. The rink has to be built. Now, having said that despite, you know, uh You know, the acknowledgement that the rink is three plus feet shorter than the normal HL rink. Um I will say the league actually feels slightly better today than they did three weeks ago about the rate actually being built on time.
But that doesn't mean they think for sure it will be. So

We have uh we've had both build we had Chris McFarland on the show before he became GM in uh in Colorado, and somebody maybe had mentioned him a bunch of times on the air as a real good option when Peter Sherelli was let go. Uh but you caught I know you caught up with Chris and I know you caught up with Bill Zeto, the GM of the Florida Panthers, who Bob Nicholson did interview. That start with Florida. Uh they are they wake up today after the Leafs victory there last night in last place. The fact is they're at five hundred without two of their best players and multiple other players.
What was the sense you got from Bill Zeto when you talked to him?
Yeah, I would say I mean listen, we chatted uh last Friday before they lost to the Flames and then they lost to the Lease last night, so obviously two more losses. Um, three losses in a row at home.
