Coming up today, Ireland begin their Nations League campaign as the Boys in Green take on Kosovo. Head coach Himmerha Grimson gives his opinion on what could be a challenging knife and standing Captain Daro Shea on what has been a difficult week in the Irish camp. But Ireland begin their Nations League campaign in the Kosovan capital Pristina this evening. Himrahal Grimson's side will play Kosovo for the first time ever at senior level. The Boys in Green have played twenty-two matches across its four previous League B group phases, and only four of those have ended in a victory. Ireland went entirely winless through the first two editions of the Nations League and have never finished above or below third place in any group.
Kosovo, meanwhile, were promoted to League B by beating Iceland in a playoff in the previous Nations League campaign. Striker Vedad Marici and winger Milos Rishitsa will be players who are perhaps somewhat familiar to Irish audiences. Head coach Hull Grimson says the Irish defence will have their work cut out.
