Um We get to watch, you know, we probably watch a bit more Spanish football than we watch Dutch football, no disrespect to the to the Netherlands. But um a great move to Real Betis, south to Spain. Um I think we were all a bit I don't know, grimmed out by the West Ham move. Um even further so by the kind of the chances stuff that were going on last weekend at the game against Burnley. Um West Ham, you know, didn't you know, had an interesting part, but didn't really come close to paying up the, you know, the market valuation for Parrot. It seems like he had, you know
He had thought about going back to London and come back to play in the in England, but he's obviously taken a bit of a he could earn more money at West Ham, but he's obviously pushed for this transfer to go through to Real Bellis. They're in the Champions League. They came fifth last season in La Liga and they're managed by a former Premier League winner manager, Manuel Pellegrini, who's Yeah, one of the Yeah, one one of these kind of old men of football that you just you know has just s sort of uh an aura or a lore about him. So uh I think it's a great move.
Yeah, I I I'd have to agree with you as well. And he's been at Bettis for quite some time now as well, Manuel Pellegrini. So it seems as though he is taking that as his own, you know, and that's what he wants to He wants to build something there proper like it and he's kinda done that to a degree already. There's some very good players there too. You mentioned about the market valuation. I think the fee does seem a little bit low. Um and I think the annoyance on Azet Alkmar's part sorta came from the fact that West Ham weren't willing to put up the money that they did for Arnie Engels who was going to to Celtic and they they coughed up or going from Celtic to West Ham, um apologies. But they they coughed up twenty five, thirty million for for him and they weren't willing to match that or get anywhere near it for for for Troy.
