And PFT, are we ready to get mad at the college football selection committee about what they're doing to your James Madison Duke? Oh, I mean, no, I'm going to be like perfectly unbiased in this situation. I'll be mad for you.

I'm going to be unbiased because here's the reality of it. I think it's an anti-president thing. I think maybe the college football playoff committee has gone woke and they don't want any presidents in their bracket.

It's sad. I mean, just fast forward 20 years, Trump University probably will be blacklisted too. Trump University didn't play nobody. Yeah, exactly. They'll make up something about it. Now, JMU is ranked ahead of South Florida in the AP vote, and as we all know, those voters really know their shit, and they're dialed in.
I was listening to our good friend Tom Fornelli's podcast, and there's one voter. I'm going to get this guy's name. This is my AP voter of the week. Well, there was that woman a month and a half ago who just went off vibes. Yeah. They asked her about it. She's like, yeah, I just do what I want to do. No, this guy is a bald knower. I respect this dude because he had an awesome, awesome pull.
The guy's name is Alex Taylor. Shout out Alex Taylor. Okay. I think he's a football writer. He works for a newspaper in Wyoming. And he had Jamie ranked number 15 in the country. Now, the funny part was, He had Louisville unranked. Okay. Which is interesting because Louisville, they beat JMU. Yeah.
But I don't know how that worked out, but I want to subscribe to this guy's newsletter because I think he knows what he's talking about.

But yeah, right now, I think that all the group of five schools should be rooting for Duke. That's where the money's at because if Duke, if they somehow win the ACC, there is a chance that we get two group of five schools.
Well, if we're going off of our friend Tom Fornelli, who is looking like he will be the college football expert, he did write an article saying that Duke, with four losses as an ACC champ, will still get in. And he also ended his article, which everyone should go read on CBS Sports. He ended his article being like, but let's be honest, Duke ain't running the table. They're probably not.
Probably not, but a boy can dream. It's a moot conversation. Honestly, you know what? It's Veterans Day as we're recording this. Thank you for your service, everybody. I'm just rooting for Navy this weekend. I don't know. Who's Navy playing this weekend? Navy's playing South Florida. As American. South Florida. South Florida, who is the highest ranked group of five.

Chapter 6: How did Clayton Kershaw feel about his World Series experience?
My cool throne is the government travel ban airports. Cool throne is airports. Hank keeps calling it the travel ban. I think he means the government shutdown. Why do you keep saying the travel ban? Because it feels like people are banned from traveling because the shutdown is so bad. Okay. But I think they're passing a law to unban traveling. Unban traveling. That's pretty good.
So, yeah, I don't know. There's the whole turn a bill into a law or whatever, but I think it needs to pass one more vote, and then we're Gucci. We're back. Okay. But, yeah, people, I mean, it seems like it's been a nightmare, a national nightmare, and it's soon to be over. Good. We're back. And you're pre-sick. TSA pre-sick. Yeah, I'm TSA pre-sick. I don't like this pre-sick stuff.
I need to take a nap. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, you got a long night ahead of you. Maybe not. Are you going to be chipping lefty or righty? Did we ever ask that? Lefty. So you're just a lefty golfer now. Yeah. So when I saw the news and everyone was like, oh, man, look, Joe Burrow. Can I just say it didn't... I didn't even think about it for one second because it's not... I love Joe Burrow. Oh, my God. Yeah, that's bad. He's sick. That's a dry hacking cough. I love Joe Burrow. The Bengals season, nothing's going to change. Joe Burrow comes in.
It's actually probably worse for the Bengals because Joe Burrow, I would assume coming back from injury is going to need a game or two to feel good again. And they don't have a game or two. And they also just give up a million points. Yeah, and it's not a knock against Joe Burrow to say that Joe Flacco was a good replacement. That's just who the Bengals are. It's the Bengals' defense.
The Bengals' defense is a problem. If the Bengals were 500 and their defense showed some sign of life, I'd be like, oh, fuck, the Bengals could make the playoffs. They could be dangerous because Joe Burrow is better than Joe Flacco, but it doesn't matter. All that said, I think maybe watch out for the Bengals. No. The defense. Let me see their schedule. Yeah, look at this.
They play the Ravens twice, I think. By the way, do you want to... This actually hurts me because I'm in... Think about playoff mode. They play the Steelers, the Patriots, the Ravens, the Bills, the Ravens, the Dolphins, the Cardinals, the Browns. I'm not going to worry about the Bengals. What's their record? Three and six?
They've got three wins. If they beat the Steelers this week, they're one game back.

So I would hear a lot of Bourdain stories from the shaman, and that's how I got put onto Bourdain, and then I had an unbelievable opportunity. My boy Zach from NBA Take Two asked me if I wanted to do a travel show, and I've been thinking about it for a little while. I travel a lot, and I'm very comfortable in all different places of the world. So it's just nice to be the one asking the questions.
Yeah, I bet you that's a good feeling of an entire career where you got a microphone in your face. How'd the game go?

What's the worst question? What's the question that you would get after a game that would drive you nuts?

What went wrong? We didn't score enough. We're about to talk about, like, talk about what happened on defense tonight. Yeah, yeah. They can't even ask a question. I want you to talk now, so please talk for me. What's that, like, if you're the one asking questions now, do you, like, find yourself prepping? Are you making lists? Are you doing research?
Are you just going there and just kind of interacting with the person as it comes naturally?
so at first I was, it's funny. So my first interview is with Derek and Derek was always like joking. Your shit is, it's, it's interesting. You need to have cameras. And I was, I was always like nervous about having cameras. I was like, you know, this isn't going to be as authentic. Yeah. It changes how people, it changes how people act when the cameras are wrong.
But what I'm surprised by is how much people actually want to share. Yeah. You know? And, um, especially when you're traveling, everybody just wants to be heard. So being able to put them in a positive light where they can share their stuff, I think it's something that I always wanted to do, and I feel like I'm getting better at it.
