Let me tell you why he is doing that. Let me tell you why he's doing that. Because he has to read certain things or say certain things before he yields to someone else. And they only they have to break in and say, you know, I have a question, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. And then he has to say, so he said, I'll say this for the 75th time, because if he does that, he breaks the protocol. And then therefore, I guess they can, you know, someone else can take over, maybe a Republican and they can knock him off of the floor.

So that's what he's doing. So when these folks are jumping in. Like this senator, then there you go. They are really helping him out, helping him out. We just turn it down a little bit. Let me just tell you, he is punch drunk, I believe. I got to tell you, Cory Booker has been really impressive today. He has been really, really, really impressive. He has been reading from the Constitution, reading from news articles, giving facts on the economy, giving facts in our country how what is happening now is affecting other people, the least of these. He's been talking about poor people, the disenfranchised, you name it. And America's behind him. I have to be honest with you. When people were saying, oh my gosh, what are the Democrats doing?
Why aren't they doing anything? Okay, I don't know if this is going to make a difference or mean anything. I hope that it does. But at least it brings awareness and it motivates people and it gets people's attention. And at least they don't think that the Democrats are sitting by idly and letting our country, our democratic republic, slide into tyranny, slide into autocracy, slide into a dictatorship. So as Lisa Ibiola says in the chat, Godspeed, Cory. I agree. Now, I think Cory Booker, he's going for it. I think that he is going to go well past it. He's not going to just at 24 hours say, okay, I'm done. I think he's going to go past it. And so you said turn her off. You can turn her down a little bit. But anyway, I just want you guys to see.
You can turn her volume down a little bit to make sure that they can hear me. Cory Booker has been on the floor for 22 hours now, more than 22 hours, okay? Make sure you hit the like, make sure you hit the thumbs up so that folks know that we're here so people can get to see what we're talking about. And we're talking about Cory Booker. We're talking about the resistance in the country, the resistance, not just for the purposes of just resisting, but to keep our democracy in check. To at least make a difference, to try to make a difference. That's what. I think Cory Booker is bringing to the fore. And I think he has motivated the Democratic Party. And he's gotten all of these people involved and behind him.
