How does Tara Setmayer introduce the idea that 'The White House is for sale'?

Tara Setmayer 0:00
Hello, Lemon Nation. I'm Tara Setmayer, and this is the Setmayer Sound Off. Okay, I know this doesn't come as a shock to many of us, but our country is being sold out right before our very eyes. The White House, yeah, it's up for sale to the highest bidder. And Donald Trump, he's the auctioneer. While Donald Trump parades around like he's some kind of blue-collar savior... He and his family are actively profiting off the presidency in ways that would have led to impeachment hearings on day one for anyone else. Foreign governments are literally enriching themselves and enriching the Trump organization while he sits in the Oval Office and the mainstream media, well, it's just a shrug. They're distracted by the next outrage du jour while this unprecedented level of corruption unfolds in broad daylight.

Let's start with the real estate side of this grift. Just recently, Trump's company, led by his dope shit dipshit sons, signed a multi-million dollar real estate deal in Oman. Yes, Oman. Partnering with a Saudi developer to build a $4 billion luxury golf resort and residential complex with the Trump name slapped across the buildings. Now, this project, it's located on government-owned land and it's funded by foreign investors with direct ties to Middle Eastern royalty. It's being marketed not just as vacation homes, but as like political access passes. He's not just licensing his name. He's using the prestige of the presidency as a marketing tool. What a shock. And this isn't the only location this is happening.

Trump's companies are also involved in high-end residential tower projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It's no accident, once again, that Trump's first official foreign trip is to Saudi Arabia coming up. This is the same country, remember, where 11 of the 19 9-11 hijackers came from, and it's the same country who murdered and dismembered Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Now, Trump has also been exploring hotel expansions in Qatar and the UAE, not to mention his sick obsession with turning Gaza into some luxury beachside resort with his tacky name plastered all over the place there also. Remember that wacko AI video he reposted a few months ago? showing him with like statues of himself and scenes of Trump and Netanyahu sipping pina coladas or some shit, whatever the fuck that was.

So weird and just gross. But these are all, they're not coincidences. All of these countries, they have direct interest in U.S. foreign policy. And now they're also Trump's business partners. Great. is so outrageous. The message is really clear here. Like, if you want favorable treatment from this administration, all you have to do is do business with the Trump family. But it doesn't end there. One of the most underreported stories right now is this Trump-branded crypto venture, particularly World Liberty Financial. It's run by Andrew Witkoff, the son of that real estate tycoon and Trump buddy Steve Witkoff. Yeah, that guy that's running around the world tasked with negotiating the Russia-Ukraine deals, among many others.

He's also a Putin apologist, by the way. So Trump is using his name and his office to pump crypto tokens, They're literally pitching it as a MAGA-branded digital currency. So think about that. A sitting president not only launching, but directly benefiting from a politically branded crypto token. As reported by ABC News, Trump's family crypto venture was just tapped as part of a $2 billion Emirati-backed investment deal. Now, this announcement was made on May 2nd by Witkoff and Eric Trump at a crypto convention in Dubai. This is so ripe for corruption. No wonder the Trump administration just disbanded the DOJ division responsible for investigating cryptocurrency-related fraud. This regulatory nightmare, it's unbelievable.

It's off the charts. And foreign governments are already exploring how they can invest or manipulate to curry favor with Trump. So you don't believe me? Okay. Headline, Bloomberg. Top Trump crypto buyers vying for dinner seats are likely foreign, data shows.
