Seven minutes past seven. The most disgusting thing I've ever come home to happened yesterday, last night. You know, you work a full day, you go out, you toil away in the mines all day. Done the content coal mine. It's not easy out there. It's a long day. Starts at five, finishes at eight. You come home. And sometimes you just hope that you come home to maybe just a tidy house or a warm meal. Maybe a smile, maybe a hello, maybe a greeting from your children. Maybe they might look up from their screens for just a moment and say, G'day, Dad. How are you? I love you. You're appreciated. I see what you do for this family. I know
that it's tough out there. Just something.
I mean, a couple of days before, I had gone to drive into the garage, and my son had just left a whole lot of crap lying around on the floor, so I couldn't get in there, so I had to stop the car, get out, tidy up the garage to get in. Tough day. Tough day. But this latest situation that occurred last night topped it all. And I don't know if it's too gross for eight minutes past seven, but I'd like to know whether this has ever happened to either of you two. Our two listeners. And listeners. So I came home last night and I walked in the door and there was material, it seemed, on the floor that had been strewn around. What kind of material? Well, at first I thought, what is that? That looks like someone's been doing some paper mache work.
Duh. And I'm looking at your face, Zoe, and I think you know what I'm about to say.
What?
So I just wanted to come home. I was tired, okay? I just wanted to come home and I just wanted to...
Well, you'd entertained and informed a nation for an entire day and played a round of golf in between.
I just wanted to relax. So I looked down and I thought, what is that? That's weird. It had a red colour to it and a bit strewn there. And then it was on the carpet in our bedroom. It seemed like it had stained the floor, the carpet, with this red stuff. And then I went into the lounge and it seemed, something seemed to have been chewed up and then all over the lounge carpet as well. It was everywhere. It was quite a mess. It was the One of the most disgusting messes I think I've ever seen in my entire life. And then I got down because I needed to get down to have a look at what it was exactly. There was a piece of string that seemed to be there in one part of the carpet. What I realized was the dog, Yoko, had fetched some sanitary items from
out of a bin and had decided to eat the sanitary items and then strew it all over the house. So, I said about... You don't want to save this for Women's Space Wednesday? Why should you have to pick that up? Thank you, Mania. I said about... Picking said
stuff up. Are we talking like just one of the products or multiple that it had got into the bin, I presume? It had been a heavy day.
And then... So how do you attack it? I mean, first of all, you've got to pick up the... The dog. The detritus. You've got to pick up the detritus. I was furious at the dog. I was going to say, I'd probably kick it. The dog didn't know what... The dog was wagging. The dog was still getting involved when I was trying to clean it
up. Look what I found. Check this out. Do you want
some? Do you want one of these? Or should I just eat all of them? I was quite proud of the fact that it had fetched it out of wherever it had fetched it out of.
I
don't want to know what the call is. I don't
want to know what the text is. That is effing borderline. Did Yoko get all the questions right for the Libra products? You know you're getting old when getting down on the ground is the whole sentence
in the story. I think that was one of the worst bits.
Kane said, what did you think it was going to be, Minaya? You sounded surprised. I genuinely had no idea. Is
that too gross for 7.10? Yes.
