Chapter 1: What did Kylie Jenner reveal about her pregnancy struggles?
Good morning, girlies, it's the toast. It's Jackson, Claude, and we're your hosts. It's your favorite show, the fast five things you need to know. We'll start your day off swirly. It's the toast. They sound amazing.
Welcome back to The Toast and happy Thursday. It's the latter half of the week. Be grateful, you know?
I am grateful. We are also simpatico. I don't know if you noticed. Yeah. Pink sweaters, creamy pants, creamy white pants with a light shoe to match. Yeah.
Except my shoes are not made the old way and sold the new way. I know yours are.
No, these are not M. Jemmy. Oh. These are a brand called Margo. Have you heard of it?
No, tell me more.
It's a very fine shoe.

Chapter 2: What is Alix Earle's new Netflix reality show about?
Okay. I have so much I want to talk to you about.
We have a lot to discuss today.
We do?
Yeah.
because Kylie was on Jade Shane and I stayed up literally I thought it came out at noon p.m I don't know why I just like assumed that and then I was playing much so I was like oh my gosh I missed it and then at night I'm like you know I'm gonna watch it on Netflix I got in bed at like 9 45 I turned it on I it didn't come out yet it came out at 7 p.m pacific time 10 p.m eastern time so I sat there for 15 minutes didn't let myself get distracted you to have waited up
And I was first click. Yeah, first. If I could comment, I would have commented first.
Yeah, right, right, right. Oh, I didn't know that it was that type of affair that we were waiting up until 10 p.m. to watch.

Chapter 3: What happened between Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes?
I haven't watched it. I'm shocked that you stayed up.
Yeah, no, I could stay up till 10 to watch something. I've been looking forward to it all day. And I know that if I didn't watch it, like when it comes out, that I, and I started to see clips of it and everything, I would have like felt like I already watched it and I wanted to have like the full experience.
Oh, I guess, I guess that makes sense. I watched The Real Housewives of Rhode Island last night, which like people have been begging me to do. And I'm so glad that I did.
Chapter 4: How did Andy Cohen respond to accusations of fakery on RHOBH?
Like I had watched the first episode. I thought it was good. But it's like hard to get into like a whole new place. All these new people, they all look the same. Yeah, like it's just, it's so, it's honestly so much work. Try being an influencer for a day. Try it. But I, Ben was out last night. So I watched like three more episodes.
It's getting like insane reviews. Like everyone's saying, like sort of like slum where it's like, this is the greatest reality TV. Like reality TV is back. And so I understand why you watch it.
Chapter 5: What shocking news emerged about Alex Murdaugh's murder convictions?
And I'll probably watch it too. I do have, I am catching some flights this weekend. So yeah. I might try and watch it on my plane rides.
So I watched, I think, the first four episodes. And I don't want people to spoil it for me in the comments, because I feel like something really crazy happens. It's really good. And the only thing is that Ashley Iaconetti is so out of place on this show.
Not only, she's a part of the younger, there's an older group and a younger group, and she's a part of the younger group, but she has no ties to this group, no ties to Rhode Island. She's sharing her personal story, and while I'm sorry that you're having a hard time, I really don't see how it's relevant to the show. She's supposed to be bringing the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives energy.
Young mom talking about balancing it all, her husband is trying to earn a living, not because they need the money, but just to make himself feel good. To feel like a man. And I don't know if the point of the show is to make me hate Jared High Bond, but I do.
Like him and his, Jared H. I don't hate Ashley I, I feel bad for Ashley I. It's like she's home alone all day with the kids and she's the one earning the living, but like it just doesn't take as much time out of the day as his does. And so it's like, but so they're, they're like fine for money. Yeah. It's not about money. It's about purpose, which I understand.
But like, if your purpose is leaving your home, your wife at home all day while your wife also pays the bills, like, yeah, it's actually, it's jarring. Like it's very startling. Um, I hate him. Yikes. Yeah.

Chapter 6: How does the podcast discuss the impact of celebrity culture?
Yeah. I actually did not see that for myself. And I just think that like their storyline and their contributions thus far, again, I'm only on the fourth episode.
Um,
I don't see how it's relevant. All these people, like, they went to middle school together. Like, Alicia's telling a story. And he used to be married to my Spanish teacher. Like, it's so interconnected. And that's what's actually really great. Like, you know those people didn't, like, show up to film together.
Like, they've known each other for years.
Chapter 7: What insights are shared about reality TV dynamics?
And they don't care if they hurt each other's feelings. Like, it doesn't mean anything.
My mother's friends with her sister. Like, it's so connected. And Ashley, I just feel, is like a really random addition. And they did this game where it's like, you know, you pick a question out of the box. And the question out of the box.
Truth box. Yeah.
The question is like, you know, uh, Everyone has skeletons. You had an affair. Your boyfriend has another girlfriend. And Ashley's was, when did you lose your virginity? Which I guess in the Bachelor days, she was one of the virgins, which was crazy at the time. But in reality TV, we don't care that you lost your virginity at 29. That's not even crazy. It's not crazy.
But I'm saying, like, that was her thing. The other ones was, like, pictures of your husband and his mistress.
That she's still, like, riding that. That's her, like, really big sensual trauma. I saw a clip of her. I don't know if it's part of what you've already seen yet or not, but it's not a spoiler. And she, like, breaks down crying because she's, like, talking about how everybody else has, like, these really, like, terrible traumatic things that have happened.
And, like, she doesn't have anything like that. And, like, it makes her so scared for, like, whenever that does happen. Like...
No, I haven't seen that. That's what I mean. Seriously, her contributions feel so bizarre and random on the show. And there is this younger crew, Rosie and Kelsey, and they got crazy shit going on. Rosie was waiting for the call from Andy Cohen, and she got it, and she's not giving, she will not be kicked off the show. If there's a stone to turn, she will turn it.
And then Kelsey, obviously she's the polygamist. She's wildly interesting. Yeah. So she's just like, she's like not inherently interesting. Like her life is just like very normal.

Chapter 8: What are the implications of celebrity relationships on public perception?
Which is nice. I feel like they were probably trying to court like the bachelor viewers by bringing in a name like that. And it is interesting, but it's not. Yeah. But if it doesn't actually work on the show. It doesn't work on the show.
So I need to get all caught up on that. But my content plate, like I'm feeling so overwhelmed. Last night, like Ben was gone having dinner with his mom. So I was like, okay, I can either read Strangers by Burden or start Rhode Island because that's what everyone's been asking me to do. So I did start that.
But I realized now my book plate is kind of growing because I realized, I think maybe you were talking about this when you were like, whose book did I say I wanted to read? Is it Hayden Panettiere?
It's not, but I do want to read it.
I'm going to actually add it to my Goodreads before I forget. She went on Jay Shetty. And you know, I forgot. There's so many eras of Hayden Panettiere she was talking about Nashville. For me, she will always be raising Helen, bring it on. But she was also one of the global faces for a decade of Neutrogena.
And she was telling this story on Jay Shetty podcast that when she went on Live with Kelly and Ryan, or whatever it was back then,
Kelly and Ryan.
Maybe it might've been Regis and Kelly. I forget. She like was talking about, she's one of the most vocal celebrities who talks about postpartum depression. Cause she had like a really severe case of it. And she had literally been with the brand for 10 years and they fired her because of that.
And I heard they're getting dragged.
