Chapter 1: How did we come up with Tate’s name?
Yes.
I got a great DM.
What is it?
Chapter 2: What happened during the power outage in Spain and Portugal?
It said, like on the topic of what we were talking about last week, on being indecisive with restaurants.
Mm-hmm.
I said, what I should do is I should say, I'm taking you to one of your favorite restaurants. Can you guess where we're going? And then you'll tell me where you want to go because whatever pops into your head will be your first choice.
That is such a good idea.
Yeah. We need a word for like good gaslighting. That's good gaslighting.
That's not even gaslighting. That's just like trickster.
Trickster. Maybe I don't even know what gaslighting means.
You use it freely. Do you know where the term gaslighting came from?
Oh, no, please educate me. Considering I can't even ever get it right.

Chapter 3: What was it like leaving Tate overnight for the first time?
It was a guy back in the day and he had a gas lantern and he would turn it brighter and less bright. And his wife would always be like, is that less bright? And he'd be like, no, it's the same. But he was gaslighting her. He was turning it up and down.
Oh, my God. Yeah. So I gaslight you. I actually gaslight you. With the temperature of our bed.
Really?
Yeah.
How do you, what do you do?

Chapter 4: How did Harrison feel spending a weekend with Tate?
When you tell me you're like, turn it up, turn it down. I say done. And you're like, oh, perfect. So I actually gaslight you.
You're not actually adjusting the temperature?
No.
Why? I'm making it too cold.
Because it's on auto adjustment. It auto syncs to our sleep.
It auto regulates depending on your body. Okay. Einstein, I sleep on a heating pad. So it's jaded. Is the internet going to get mad at me for that? No. Okay. I hope not. All right. Let's start. Are we rolling? Yeah. Okay. Welcome back to two parents and a podcast. Why are you checking your phone?
You've been, you've been looking at the agenda.
Okay. He's been a little phone happy today. Don't you think?
well little stress levels running a little high why uh you know just going through it oh i added some things last minute here i noticed what you want to talk about how we came up with tate's name yeah i'm so proud of you you podcaster because people ask us that all the time and we never i like always go i always mean to add add it to the agenda and i always forget do you remember how we came up with the name

Chapter 5: What was the Mother’s Day surprise?
It's just like, I think I said, I like the name Tate one day. And then you were like, oh yeah, I love it.
So I don't think that's what happened.
Okay.
Where did we go on our first date?
Well, I don't know the name of it.
Okay.

Chapter 6: Why are certain kids' shows like 'Cocomelon' considered unhealthy?
I know they had tater tots and it was down.
What did we order for our first meal?
Tater tots.
Valentine's Day, we went back there.
To get the tater tots. They were off the menu.
And they were off the menu. And I think that at that point, we started calling her tater tot in your belly. And I think tate came from tater tot.
Now, listen, that's a cuter story, but I've always loved the name Tate because I went to high school with a girl named Tate. And I liked her smile and I loved her as a person. And I think I said that's in the running for me and you loved it. And then for Valentine's Day, that solidified it.
So is my story a gaslight?
No, no, no, it's not. It's not a gaslight. That's not the right. No, because you think your story, you're not telling me the story to like.

Chapter 7: What emotional changes did motherhood bring?
And why was it off? It said most of Spain and Portugal, including major cities like Madrid. The power is off. They didn't tell me how long.
And so then works canceled too, right?
Of course. What are you going to do? Just go into work? Well, I guess going into work could be a lot of fun. If you don't like your setup at home, you can just go bring some beers and hang at the office.
Yeah, unless you had an electronic door to get in the office. I mean, electricity powers a lot.
Yeah, but I'm not saying like 30 days without electricity. I was saying like four days.
Oh, I'm down. And especially if I knew when the power was going to come back on. That would be the most fun scenario. I was like, hey, power's going to be off Monday to Friday. I'd be like, done. Done. Then you'd know there's a light at the end of the tunnel, pun intended.
I apologize to the listener if they're hearing my ice click, but I am drinking out of an unbelievable cup from Aishens, which I think is one of the coolest restaurants I've ever been to in Okarchi.
Yep.
Okarchi, Oklahoma.

Chapter 8: How did the house closing impact us?
All right, let's move on to the big news.
Well, I thought we're going to talk about IRL. We haven't even talked to IRL. That's the big news. What is it?
That we closed on the house officially. You guys, I messed up. So Jules and I were out here titling episodes like we got the house and technically like we did sign the papers to get the house, but we hadn't paid for the house. And so Harrison was on edge. And he was like, stop titling episodes that we got the house.
But now we've officially gone to the title place, signed the docs, transferred the money, and now we own the house.
Yeah. So today's Tuesday and we closed on Friday. Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, I think like it's kind of like taking a business mindset into – uh, into real life where like a deal isn't done until docs are signed and money is wired. And like, I've always lived that way because I've seen enough things fall apart at, at the one yard line.
And so with this, like it was just, it was like, so I don't know, it was such a weird feeling for me because like we talked about it so much online and, And then like the way it was messaged, I do think was, you know, accurate from the perspective of we bought it without an option period because we did, we like did the option period before we actually put the offer in.
That was like part of the weird negotiation that, that we had. Like we had the inspector come beforehand. We had them run title beforehand and uh, surveyor, et cetera, et cetera. Uh, so what was I saying?
