And it's still that's still what our brains are seeing.
Like these these patterns make sense evolutionarily.
Like there's a reason that we constrict particularly in social situations, because if we were cast out of the group, that was basically signaling death back back in the day.
And we haven't
On a neurobiology level, we haven't changed that much.

Yeah, for me it was I was engaged to an amazing woman called Sophie who had uh bipolar disorder, and she would often get these pretty intense anxiety attacks.

One time when I was traveling in port school, she went back to work as a junior doctor.
She had an anxiety attack, and she came back and she overdosed on her own medication.
Wow.
And that, as as you might imagine, just just obliterated me.
Like it was absolutely devastating.
And for me, th there's there's there's a few things that that emerged from that.

Pattern would have been to push it down, to numb it, to avoid, to distract myself, to just kind of like move on with my life without really metabolizing this like devastating loss that I'd been through.
