We're looking at, well, what are the other assets
To add real asset, there is you.
And often that is the case.
So you can negotiate that really strongly, very nicely in these deals as well.
And so there's often underlying assets in these web digital assets that people don't realize, including the sellers, by the way.
And the key one is an email list, but sometimes it is the personality behind the site.
There can be value in that.
And so obviously, if that goes, then you shouldn't.
paying lots of money for the website, by the way.
So that's the other thing that you can negotiate out.
So with virtual assets, what I love about them, there's often lots of exciting other assets floating around with that underlying site.
And sometimes just the position in Google.
Often it is, you know, the domain authority, that's worth money in and of itself.
Domain authority and the amount of backlinks and maybe the domain name.
It's a pretty cool area.
Digital assets are like real estate.
And what's really interesting is we get asked to speak at conferences because uh when I say we, my wife and I have made our money through buying and selling businesses.
And in 2008, we started to buy and sell online businesses.
And then we got asked to speak at conferences, like typically real estate conferences and SEO conferences, because that's how we grew these sites through SEO.
