How can I let more love in?
And one of the great things about attachment theory is that it's not deterministic.
It is possible to come out of a really difficult early childhood situation with neglectful, even abusive parenting,
And with a lot of work, end up in a secure attachment style and have really great and healthy relationships.
So that's the good news in that theory.
Through self-analysis, through working with people who are able to offer those non-judgmental type relationships, psychotherapists, good psychotherapists will do that, social workers, psychologists and so on.
And it's often a slow repair process, but it's absolutely a wonderful thing to be a part of as a professional to actually see people, to go back to your, to pinch your analogy, Krisha, about the clouds, to see the clouds and the fog and the despair start to lift.
And people's standards of relating start to lift too.
What was once desirable moves into the unacceptable.
And something happens and changes where they start finding people who they hadn't noticed before who are offering them a lot more as really attractive.
And that's just the best part of the job.
It's wonderful to experience that.
