Edwin Castro 0:00
Hey, it's Edwin Castro, also known as Castro1021. And I'm Konky, his best friend and business manager. And we've got a new show called The 1021 Podcast. I'm taking you behind the scenes on how I became one of Twitch's most popular streamers. We also love sports. And with the World Cup right around the corner, we'll be breaking down the biggest storylines ahead of the big tournament here in the USA. Listen to the 1021 podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Cheryl Strayed 0:35
Hi, everyone. I'm Cheryl Strayed, author of Wild and Tiny Beautiful Things. I'm excited to share that I have a new podcast called Mind Over Mountain. In each episode, I interview athletes, adventurers, and adrenaline seekers to discuss the inner landscapes that informed and inspired their extraordinary feats so we too can better understand how to face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges. Listen to Mind Over Mountain every Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Most people out here think that taking care of one another is important. And most people would step up for a neighbor going through a tough time. Most people around here help out friends and family when they need it. But the funny thing is, most of us won't look for help when we need it. Talk to someone if you're struggling with mental health. Because most people out here really care. Find more information at loveyourmindtoday.org. That's loveyourmindtoday.org. Brought to you by the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and the Ad Council.
Michelle McPhee 1:36
I'm Michelle McPhee, and I've been unraveling the strangest criminal alliance I've ever reported on. A Mormon polygamist and an Armenian businessman.
Brooke 1:46
Multi-million dollar house, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, private jets, a billion dollar fraud.
Michelle McPhee 1:52
But how long can this alliance last? Tell me what you know. Is somebody coming after me? Listen to Kingdom of Fraud starting on May 12th on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Amanda Knox 2:08
I'm Amanda Knox, and in the new podcast, Doubt, The Case of Lucy Letby, we unpack the story of an unimaginable tragedy that gripped the UK in 2023. But what if we didn't get the whole story?
Unknown 2:21
Evidence has been made to fit. The moment you look at the whole picture, the case collapsed.
Amanda Knox 2:25
What if the truth was disguised by a story we chose to believe? Oh my God, I think she might be innocent. Listen to Doubt, The Case of Lucy Letby on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Brooke 2:40
Is your dream to get hundreds of thousands of followers on social media for barely doing anything? I mean, it'd be nice.
Michelle McPhee 2:47
Does it mean you don't have to post? Because I'm just like, I'm really burnt out on the posting.
Brooke 2:53
It's a lot of work. It's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Well, it's what one guy has accomplished. And all he had to do was create one giant everlasting pot of stew. Oh, yeah. What? I immediately want to watch. Dude, I've heard of these, like the never-ending soup that a restaurant will have for like 20 years and they just keep adding to it. Exactly. So this guy goes by the username Zach Makes, and he has spent the last calendar year over 370 days constantly cooking the same pot of stew. They call it perpetual stew. Where does he cook it? Like, has he got a one-bedroom apartment somewhere and he's just smelling up the whole building? Smells good all the time, though. Yeah, it looks like he has, like, a slow cooker that he uses.
Brooke 3:37
Okay. Like a normal crock pot? Disgusting. Oh, gross. It's a normal crock pot that hasn't been washed in a full year. Yeah. I don't know what to think about it. So he started it a year ago and has just been adding to it and eating from it ever since, never, ever taking it off the heat. When he asks friends to come over, do you eat it, too, or do you pass? Just polite to. I just had a perpetual salad. Oh, man, I would. Sorry, bro. Totally. So what's in it? Well, it started out as a regular beef stew with carrots and onions, but he's been adding all sorts of new things to it each day, including salmon, blackberries, lamb shanks, jalapenos, eggs, okra, just to document the ever-evolving flavor.
