Bob Stoffer joining you live from Amarant Bank Arena. We're in Sunrise, Florida. Game four of the Stanley Cup final goes tonight. And uh that song paying homage to uh the legend of Cordelia in relation to King Lear. I think you know that she was the one daughter that told King Lear the truth. This is Outers Now brought to you by World of Space and we're in the Play Alberta Broadcast Center, playAlberta.ca. When you play in Alberta, it stays in Alberta. Please play responsibly. And here's the truth. This is a must-win hockey game tonight for the Edmonton Outers.
In theory, yes, you could drop both games here, come back to Edmonton, win game five, get get a win here in game number six. The way Florida's playing, I don't think you're beating this team in three straight games. So you gotta find a way to get it done right here, right now. Emonton making multiple lineup changes. And that is where we're gonna go for a top story for legacy heating and cooling, home and no payments, no interest for one year. That's how you build a legacy, legacy heating and cooling. Uh the Emonton making two changes to the lineup. As Victor Arvidson gets pulled out of the lineup and Jeff Skinner gets inserted in up front, albeit on a different line. Troy Stetcher is uh in and uh John Klingberg is out.
Stetcher will play with Darnell Nurse a little bit later on in this half hour. We will give you the full game day lineup report. How are the Oilers adjusting their lineup for Game 4?
Brendan Escott's a big part of this show. He's at Brennan with two E's, Escott with two T's. I'm available, Bob underscore star for the show Twitter account is at OidersNow. And a reminder, at any time you can catch exclusive video clips, highlights, and more on the OidersNow X account and 888 Jed's YouTube channel, proudly presented by Bobby and Steve, who are down here in Florida, and our friends at Legacy Heating and Cooling. So just before we go to the OrdersNow Audio. And here from Chris Knobloch, Hunterman, David Leon, Dry Seidel, Stuart Skinner, uh Ryan Nugent Hopkins, and Troy Stecher. I just want to get a thought on Brendan Escott. Brendan, we know what the odors are going to do. Skinner is going to play on a line with Henrique and uh Trent Frederick.
That was the line that scored against Dallas in game number five of that series. Jeff Skinner's third playoff game. He's not played a playoff game at home yet. And Troy Stecher comes in. in. I don't think anybody's surprised oh by the way, uh Stewart Skinner's starting to go. Give me a rip on all three of those uh players and the roles and how important they are tonight.
Yeah, I think you know, I'm expecting a lot out of Jeff Skinner who should be plenty motivated to prove that he's got this spot in the lineup to to stay, you know, and he's getting the opportunity. He's gonna wanna reward his coach for uh for trusting him in this scenario. So I I can see him greasing it up and getting another goal and they don't necessarily need a whole team worth of goonery at at this stage of Of the series, uh, based on what we saw in that last game, they've wasted it already. So get a goal scorer in there. I don't mind that at all. Uh Troy Stecher was uh a one-man defensive uh wrecking crew in that Dallas series. They're what are they five and one when he's in the lineup in these playoffs?
So uh you know, I think that he impacts the game uh very similarly to how we see other defensive defensemen like maybe. Maybe maybe not to the same extent as Chris Tannev, but still a similar role fulfilled where you you look at what he's doing in his own end of the ice, you appreciate the effort, and you love what he does to slow down or um not slow down, but amplify Darnell Nurse's game.
