Yeah, look, obviously the last two years we've had quite a young team, you know, and I think lads are young and hungry and, you know, they don't know what to expect. And, you know, it's my job as a senior player in there now that, you know, I know what has to be done and what has to be done throughout the year to make sure we're there about in the playoffs or challenging for the league. So, look, I think it's more self-driven with the players and stuff like that. And, look, I think we'll have no problem this year motivating the lads to hopefully go all the ways.

I know obviously once you get to playoffs form goes out the window but during the season you probably dropped a few points in places maybe you shouldn't have and in cases maybe even got points where maybe you shouldn't have as well. Do you find that this time around you really can't take any fixture for granted regardless of what you think of the team?
What lessons has the team learned from last season's performance?
Yeah like look obviously last year we probably won games that we maybe shuttled and lost that we shuttled and obviously dropped points in places where we know we could have got something out of and look obviously it's you take it kind of game by game as you go like obviously we've longed for the first and then we have two tough tests down in treaty and cork so look i think the first three is what i've my eyes on straight away and you know if we can if we can start three from three straight away that would be brilliant and look as the year goes on we're going to pick up injuries pick up form pick up bad form you know it's it's 36 games in the year you know and it's it's going to be it's going to be a tough year but look i think we'll be ready for it so
Longford as well, they finished off their season brilliantly and I know you can't really talk about how much that will affect coming into this season, but how do you approach a game like that? Can you take much of your appearances against them last season or do you have to go from scratch?
Yeah, obviously you're going to look at the way they played last year and obviously they finished the season great last year. I think they did seven in a row last year at the end of the season. Obviously you take form from the previous season into it and I think we're just going to look at ourselves first of all anyway, focus on ourselves first and then...
