This here is just my personal opinion, my experience and general advice. And in a study Study from the year 2016, the researchers discovered that quitting cold turkey is more successful than gradually cutting down on nicotine. And the researchers actually followed up with the participants in four weeks and six months. That's what this study concluded. And what can you expect when you quit smoking cold turkey? You can prepare yourself for two weeks of research.

Withdrawal symptoms. Usually the withdrawal symptoms peak at around day one to three and they last for about two weeks. And that's something that you have to know. Because if you experience these withdrawal symptoms, then it's up to you if you can push through it, if you can fight through it. I might be able to help you to reduce your withdrawal symptoms, I might be able to help you to reduce your cravings, but in the end, if you don't really want to quit smoking, then well, you won't quit smoking. I can help you a lot with hypnosis, and hypnosis can do a lot for you on that journey. But if you don't want to quit, then well you won't quit. So please always remember when you want to quit smoking, and especially if you decide to book a hypnosis session for smoking cessation with me, I want you to be at a point where you say, Yes, I really want to quit, and here's why.
I don't want You to book a hypnosis session with me because one of your friends said, Hey, check it out, or because your wife or your girlfriend or your boyfriend or your husband tells you you really have to quit smoking, and deep down you don't want it. You have to be at threshold. And when you're at threshold, which means when you really want to quit, then the success rate with hypnosis is incredibly high. Then I can help you tremendously. But if you say from yourself, you know I'm gonna book that hypnosis session, but deep down I don't want to quit at all, then of course, well nothing can change. So it's important for you to really ask yourself why do I want to quit smoking?
