This episode of Stronger is brought to you by our friends at Timeline, the makers of MitoPure, a supplement I've been taking now for about three years. For decades, the gold standard of supplements for muscle performance have been protein and creatine, but there is another piece of the puzzle most people overlook, your cellular energy. At the center of that system are your mitochondria, the tiny energy factories inside your cells. And MitoPure is the best supplement that I found that provides more efficient energy production in your cells. Every step you take, every weight you lift, every muscle contraction depends on your mitochondrial energy, which MitoPure was designed to enhance. Timeline's clinically proven formula is now available at a new lower price.
Mighty Pure now starts at $79 when you go to timeline.com slash stronger. That's timeline.com slash stronger for 20% off your order. Thanks guys.
Welcome to Stronger. Today, I have three legendary coaches joining me. These three have had a front row seat to the past four decades of fitness. Gunnar might be five or six decades, but we're gonna give him the benefit of the doubt here. So we've seen all kinds of people coming into the gym. We all know someone who seems to create momentum and keep it going, and others who get stuck and can't seem to show up. That's what we're unpacking today. We're gonna discuss what makes some people transform their lives while others never seem to gain momentum. But first, We're going to do our little introduction here, okay? My panel today, I'm so honored to have you guys on, grateful. Gunnar Peterson's up first.
Gunnar is one of the most respected training coaches in the industry with decades and decades and decades of experience training high performers across industries of all kinds. He's recognized for blending performance, longevity, and practical training strategies to help people achieve sustainable results. Funny story about Gunnar, I met him a few years ago. We saw each other across the room at Stronger and we just started hugging and I tried kissing him and he said no and we just moved on. But Gunnar, I felt like I knew you for years. Next up. Jen Widerstrom. Jen is a fitness coach, author, and wellness expert best known for helping people create lasting lifestyle change. Many have seen her on The Biggest Loser, but she is also an American gladiator.
Jen focuses on building confidence, consistency, and healthy relationships with fitness and nutrition. And Jen, you recently joined the Pump Club, or have you been on it for a while? But I'm seeing you a lot more visible on there, correct?
Yeah, yeah. We're deep in, we're married.
I love it. I love it. And an absolute perfect pick to have you aboard. There's no one.
Well, thanks to Adam Bornstein. Who's yep.
That's going to be our next intro. And also joining us, beautiful transition. Adam is a fitness author, media strategist, and editor-in-chief for Arnold Schwarzenegger's Pump Club for years. He's been one of the leading voices helping bridge the gap between science, fitness, and real-world application. So guys, this is what we're going to do today. We're each going to take 60 seconds. We're going to be on the clock. Gunnar, you're up first. Here's the first question. Why do some people transform their lives while others never seem to gain momentum? When you see the clock, let's hit it.
Boy, I see the clock. I think some people don't get there because I don't think they commit. I think some people see themselves committing, but they're not knocking it all down.
What is the episode about and who are the guest coaches?
I think they're doing, like, if we're going to break it down to four pillars, roughly, like we're going to say training and we're going to say training. nutrition we'll put hydration supplementation there we'll put recovery and then we'll put stress management I think some people get one out of four two out of four I don't think they commit as uh completely or as wholly as they need to to make major changes they get some early changes in the beginning but because they're not locking in everywhere they end up falling short
