What is the hidden wealth ceiling that high‑achievers experience?
If I doubled your income tomorrow. Would you immediately feel more secure? Or would your brain find something new to worry about? A new goal, a new pressure, a new uh investment issue that you need to figure out or a reason why maybe that it's not enough or that there's pressure to maintain it. Because if we're being honest, a lot of high achievers think they want more money when they Actually What they want has nothing to do with money at all. What they really want is the feeling that they believe money will give them. Safety. Freedom, significance, validation. Proof they finally made it. And here's what I've learned after years of coaching high-achieving women and men, and honestly, years of doing this work on myself, the limiting
Thing. That's limiting your wealth isn't your intelligence. It's not the opportunities. It's not your work ethic. It's not your strategy. It's your wealth ceiling. It's an invisible limit that you have subconsciously placed on what feels safe to achieve. You Can want more money and still be uncomfortable having it. You can want more success and still be afraid of standing out. You can want abundance and an abundance mindset, but still secretly believe that wanting more makes you selfish. And that's why some people keep hitting the same income level. Why you don't advance, why your business doesn't skyrocket, why you're not getting that program pro that promotion. It's the same stress level. It's the same emotional ceiling over and over and over again.
And today we're talking about that ceiling. We're gonna be talking about scarcity mindset, abundance mindset, and what I actually think is even more important, wealth mindset. Welcome to the Confidence Podcast, your go-to space for high performance coaching designed for ambitious, high-achieving individuals who want more out of life. You deserve the confidence that rises to meet your dreams. This podcast will help you activate it fully. I'm your host, Trish Blackwell. Let's get started. Hey guys, welcome to the Confidence Podcast. I am your coach and mindset mentor, Trish Blackwell. You're listening to episode 708. And then today we're talking about the s wealth ceiling that you didn't know you have. We're talking wealth mindset for high achievers.
Wealth mindset isn't about becoming obsessed with money. It's about realizing how wealthy you already are, how wealthy you are in love, in talent, in potential, in opportunity, in people, and in the ability to make a difference in this world that you Want. But we're also going to be talking money. Money is a tool. And it's a it's a tool that we can either learn to use well or that will hold us back from our actual potential. And the fastest way to find your wealth ceiling is to notice the amount of success, money, or visibility and ease that feels that starts making me feel uncomfortable. You start apologizing for, that you start feeling guilty about. out or are you worrying that you can't handle or manage more?
That is where your current identity is stopping you. And I don't think that most high achievers think they have a scarcity mindset. In fact, I would have never acknowledged that I did. I'm a positive person. I, you know, believe that God provides all my needs. But I at the core have had to unroot and rewire and reprogram decades of scarcity thinking. And I think sometimes we hide scarcity thinking through s phrases like, oh, I'm being realistic. Or I'm just driven and I know I need to work harder in order to achieve more. The amount that you work is not correlated to the money that you get to have. Or we think I'm being, I'm, I'm, I'm being responsible. Well, let's call this covert scarcity, this core belief that there's not enough.
Now, for my competitive people out there, you this is gonna resonate is they can't win. And if they do too well, then it's not enough for me. We think that there isn't enough. There's not enough money. There's not enough opportunity. There's not enough success. There's not enough time. There's not enough recognition. Now you might go, I'm not like honestly thinking that.
