Uh, The initial reaction, I don't know if you're worried at all about this as a national perception, but when I came in here yesterday and I told the group, hey, Pablo's doing something on Ronnie Cycli for tomorrow, the entire group was like, oh, no. The reaction was, no, don't let Pablo Torre near our beloved Ronnie Cycli. He's one of the good ones. The reaction, what did Ronnie Cycli do that was wrong?
He scammed people out of real estate. And I don't like this reputation you're getting. Your show has a great deal of range. You do a lot of different things. It shouldn't always be, oh, no, Pablo's around. What's going to get desecrated? Who's going to get unmasked? Who's going to get shamed? I don't like what's happening around you.

It did take a year for us to publish this episode, in part because we've had the difficulty of trying to convince people, hey, look, we also pick people that we want to stand by and hold up as friends of the show and also people that we think are worth celebrating. And the hope, as you were alluding to, Dan, is that if we say, this is the story you got to hear, it could be because the person in it is guilty, allegedly, of various things. In this case, I'm happy to report that Ronnie Cycli is a total mensch. It is amazing. And that's part of the whole palate cleanser premise of this story is there are so many horrific people that we end up profiling and talking about. And in many ways, I was just watching the video of Sean Strickland, the MMA guy who's saying things that are just like,
even making the people who wanna be rebellious feel like, okay, that's too far. Like you shouldn't be saying that about bad money and gay people in 2026, all this stuff. Ronnie Cykli is the opposite of that. I didn't plan for Sean Strickland to say all those things, but Ronnie Cykli in a fun, genuine, authentic, and ultimately for the first time public way, is the person I wish more people were like because he rules and I would like to give him our stamp of approval and not again a red flag that says stay away from him.
