Just didn't go the Jaguars' way today, and some early decisions might have come back to bite them late as well. Yeah, I mean, there are several things you can point to today, JP. But in the end, look, as great as a regular season as it was, it's a massive disappointment when you lose a home game as a division champion with 13 wins coming in. So just to put that out there, but obviously, you know, it'll be long debated. The decision to pass up what should have been an automatic three with Cam Little at the midway through the second quarter. That would have put the Jags up by seven at that point. It might be a little off on the exact time, but you got the idea there. The blown coverage down the field late when Devin Lloyd came free up the middle on a blitz.
And, you know, we had three guys trying to cover two, and one of them was wide open. I'm not sure how that math works. worked there. Cam Little missed the field goal that he hasn't missed in two months. I'm not blaming Cam. It's just these things that happen. Trevor Lawrence, I thought the ball, you and I both remarked on it. We were talking about it, watching it all day. He had a lot of them tipped but the ball came out of his hand funny a number of times as well today. Don't know what the cause of that is, but several other guys stepped up. I thought the defense as a whole, the run defense was outstanding today. I mean, just outstanding on both James Cook and Josh Allen. You're not going to stop Josh Allen in a,
fourth and one or a third and short type situation. But in terms of containing him all game, they did a terrific job. Parker Washington was huge. I thought Travis Etienne and Basil Tootin, when they were allowed to touch the ball, did a phenomenal job.

Should have had the ball a lot more between those two in the second half. Yeah, no doubt. And then, of course, the blown coverage on the final drive, 36-yard pass to Cooks, flips the field there, and then turns it into a clock-watching event there to see if they're going to get that go-ahead score. But that big play allowed on the final Buffalo possession as well. Fred Taylor is standing by. He's going to join us here in just a moment after Jaguars' loss in the wild-card game, 27-24 to the Buffalo Bills. Trevor Lawrence's numbers in this game... 18-30, 2-0-7, three touchdowns, two interceptions, 86.4 rating. He ran for 31 yards on six carries as well, and unfortunately the giveaways, obviously the one at the end was the tip ball there, but the two interceptions loomed big in this game.
Yeah, no doubt about it. Anytime, especially it's magnified in the postseason when you turn the ball over. Jags forced one of their own, but they got nothing out of it ultimately. That's why I definitely would have taken the three at that point because it's such a momentum builder for the Bills. They get that quick change against them, and they hold you to no points. And then, of course, they went down on a 92-yard drive that changed momentum entirely there in the second quarter.
