But
And and you know, I uh going back to the the grief piece, I I think the thing for me was so hard was like I felt like if I allowed myself to feel the grief that I I would like I would die.
It's literally it felt like that intense.
And when it didn't hap or when I felt it and I was okay, I was like, Whoa, I'm actually
I'm actually okay, even though I just allowed this like 70-foot wave to like land on me.
That's at least that's how I that's how I relate to it.
And that's been it's been an empowering narrative that I choose to believe.
Yeah, yeah.
I think that's so true.
I s I I saw I saw a video by um mutual friend Chris Williamson talked about the the perils of over optimization.
Actually what it was more about responding to the backlash against like being super optimized, which is you know very hot right now.
And I think that
I think there is a trap with self-improvement culture in that people are approaching the next retreat, the next breakthrough from a place of inherent lack.
Like because I'm fundamentally broken in some way, I need to do this thing that will make me okay.
Versus I think there's another, maybe slightly more kind of nuanced approach, which I think of as like self-unfolding, where you are naturally going to grow and evolve and learn.
Just just as a result of being human.
It it's like a tree that goes from a sapling to being an oak tree.
It will just grow and the and the sapling isn't gonna berate itself for being like, I'm not that big three three hundred foot oak tree.
And so humans naturally want to grow in the same way, like I have a um five month old daughter right now.
She's she's like learning every day.
