Brandon Snyder, welcome to The next level agents podcast. Excited to have you here.
We're doing another one of these. I'm I'm pretty excited about this, EK. I think It's been a minute. I think the last one I did was in October. And so I'm now checking off my monthly obligations as a member of the podcast by actually doing one. So I'm glad we're doing one.
Yeah, absolutely. I'm excited for this conversation too. Let's start with uh let's start with the idea of transformation. I think a lot of people in transitional times realize that there's opportunity within themselves and within their own choices. And you've gone through some really significant transformation in your own life. So can you share a little bit of your perspective on that and what inspired that for you? And then we're going to talk a little bit more in depth about what you've learned in the journey.
Yeah, it's funny. I I feel like you might have been a fly on the wall in this c I was just on a call earlier with with Ben Kenny and It was with our place partners and he was talking about the leaders that we have to show up as. And something really stuck out to me that if something's persisting as a problem longer than six months, it's a you problem. And I'm really in this in this learning phase of like, who do I have to metamorphoseth into to be the person that I'm needed to be to do the things I want to do for my family, for my team. And I think about I think about growing up and I remember My diet consisted of like TV dinners and like ramen. And it wasn't because I like to eat those things, right?
perspective's a hell of a drug because now I I get to say, man, like this is the life that I prayed about, right? But I had to go through a transformation. to get to this point, right? Meanwhile, I'm still working on the next version of me, right? And so it's really interesting kind of being reflective on it in the past couple of days has been really cool to say, hey, you know what? I've had to do a lot of personal work. Not like I woke up one day and I just literally went from caterpillar to butterfly. It was like, man, I'm still working on this and I had to daily put the work in just to get to this space, which is I run a small team with my wife and We're fairly successful, but there's so much more work to do, right?
So much more personal growth that has to happen and relationships that need to be made and things that need to happen. And that requires a new level of transformation. It's interesting. I I love that you brought that up because I've been really reflective recently about the person that I've had to go from to become the person I am today. And this is 33 years old. Right. I didn't make you feel old, did I?
Oh, not at all. Yeah.
I feel like
I'm thirty three.
This is what thirty three feels like and it took a um it took a a very large
How do Brandon and Erik define real transformation versus a single big win?
life happening, things happening for me to grow through that and and get where I am. And I I know that's kind of vague. Like I I don't really intend for this episode to be about every hardship and thing that formulated me into the person that I am today. But I will tell you that this transformation thing, like like turning into the person that you want to become is not a, it is not a sprint. It is a continuous personal development course, I feel like. I feel like every day I'm waking up and like having to learn something from someone or check my ego at the door or whatever. So I hope that answers your question.
I think that's a great answer to the question. And I think that I I think there are some parallels.
