And you and I were at lunch recently talking about that, right? Some of the some of the changes. Tell me, tell me about those.
Dave Zajdzinski 0:45
Yeah, the biggest change. Is where my passion has just shifted. I'll always do real estate. It's always in my DNA, right? But my passion has just shifted for solving The problem of international hires in American like small business owners, right? I'm not I'm not working with huge companies. I've worked with some big companies, but it's like Taking the journey that I've gone through of eight years of having VAs, let's call them VAs, but I like to call them international workers. Like it's it's so much harder than people think to make that work extraordinarily well. And now that's just my passion is I want people to have the same experience that I have with how do we use VAs at a high level. How do we get scale, leverage, and a and a better life?
Dave Zajdzinski 1:32
And there's so many it's like I was just reading posts this morning. It's like You can follow the drumbeat of work harder and then people shame people who try to get leverage. It's like work, work, work. I worked 186 hours last week. How many hours did you work? And I get that. I'm not afraid of work, but I I'd like to build a business. I'd like to own a system that works. So That's my biggest shift. I love it. I'm not throwing shade, man, but I'm just like there just seems to be work harder or work smarter and like we villainize both, which I don't I don't do. I just it it works well for me to to have a lot of leverage.
Kevin Kauffman 2:04
Well, first of all, I think that's the key in business is you've got to find what works well for you. Like at least in the real estate business, this is something I've been saying for way over a decade now. Like you have to decide what the relationship is you want with your business and then make decisions based on that. And you're right. Dude, it's it's not even just international workers or leverage. It's leverage in general. People like people are people, right? They're human beings are humans. And whether we're talking about somebody who sits next to you in the in the office next to you, or somebody literally around the world, there is a skill set that must be acquired, worked on. I I don't want to use the word perfected because I'm not
Kevin Kauffman 2:48
Sure that anybody ever gets there, but it's it's hard and it but it's it is doable. Thank you. And what I love is that you have been so committed to this now for a long period of time, and you are now passionate about helping others kind of like you said, experience what you've experienced. So tell me tell me more about what you mean by that. Like, yeah, when you say help. helping others experience it, how does that what's how does that show up for you?
Dave Zajdzinski 3:17
Yeah, in a couple of ways. There's there's things I've actually added and changed since we had our lunch, which kind of prompted this this meeting, but What I mean by that is First of all, you're right. And you told me this years ago. It's like hiring, it's it's just like you're when I was going through hiring issues, like, Well, you just gotta get better at hiring, which you're hard. You're right. It's super hard. Or, or like I think I have an or for people, or admit you're not good at it and let me do it for you. That's so that's what I'm doing. I think so I'm I'm really trying to change the game in the virtual assistant space. I've so I've that's been a focus of mine for years now. I have exited hundreds and hundreds of people, right?
Dave Zajdzinski 4:00
