Buckle up because we're about to take you there right now. Have you ever gone through a season of life where nothing seemed to work? Where every part of your life felt heavy, kind of all at the same time? Confidence was low. Your energy was low. Your business felt uncertain.
Maybe your future felt blurry. And maybe the hardest part wasn't even the struggle itself. Maybe the hardest part was while you were in it, you couldn't see what any of it was producing. You thought you were losing. But if you study enough successful people, enough entrepreneurs, leaders, athletes, enough people who've actually built something meaningful. You'll start to notice a pattern. Before the breakthrough, there's usually a breaking point. And I think one of the great unwritten rules of this life is this. After prolonged periods of hardship and uncertainty, There's often massive periods of expansion, growth, clarity, momentum. Problem is most people just quit before they get there. What's up everybody?
Welcome back to Next Level Agents. I'm Kevin Kaufman. And today I wanna Talk about something that I think every entrepreneur, every real estate agent, every leader Every human being
What is the “breaking point” pattern that precedes a breakthrough?
Eventually has to come face to face with. And that's this idea that Your greatest growth often comes from your lowest moments, not your wins, not your easy seasons, not the times when everything was flowing. Talking about the moments that humbled you. The moment that broke you down. The moment where you questioned yourself. A moment where you thought maybe You are gonna make it. Because oddly enough. Those The exact moments That are building the future version of you. And there's a quote I came across recently. That hit me hard. Made me think about this a lot. It's what's why I'm recording this. Quote is it's an unwritten rule of life that after every prolonged period of hardship and uncertainty. There's gonna be a period where you're going to achieve quantum leaps across multiple areas of your life.
The only requirement is that you do not give up on yourself. And that's just so powerful. Lately. I just Thought you might want to hear this. Just 'cause the season is painful doesn't mean it's pointless. See, I I think we often misunderstand where growth comes from. I think most people imagine growth happening during Their victories. Like when their business is booming and the confidence is high. The money's flowing and relationships are easy. Kinda everything feels aligned.
How does the “bamboo principle” explain invisible growth before it erupts?
But when I look back on my life. In my business, when I look at almost every person who I look up to, admire. Learn from. The trend is that the deepest growth usually happened somewhere else. Usually during a like a time of uncertainty. During a time of rejection. Maybe during embarrassment, failure. Maybe during times of rebuilding seasons. Seasons where I felt lost. And the reason Those seasons matter so much is because hardship has a way of stripping away illusion. Pain forces honesty. Hard seasons ask questions that comfort never asks. Questions like Who are you when things aren't working out right? What are you made of? What actually matters to you? Which of your habits are actually hurting you? What weakness are you avoiding?
What's the excuse you can no longer hide behind? See a lot of people only become disciplined after chaos. A lot of leaders only become leaders after they fail. Lotta agents. Only adopt systems after they're overwhelmed. A lot of entrepreneurs only become emotionally resilient after taking punches. Comfort rarely creates transformation. It's pressure. Pressure does. See the person who enters the hard season is not the same person who leaves it.
