She's been a big old week, although short for you because you've only just got back yesterday. Yes. Doesn't really feel like a week. No, it doesn't. It just zips through. As I've often said on this show, we don't report on the news, we are the news. That hasn't been true up until last night. We'll talk about it this morning on the show, but I kind of clocked it when we asked him to shoot Shag Mary yesterday.

And Zane, an ACT candidate is now in hot water over controversial comments.
A couple of weeks ago, the ACT Party announced veteran broadcaster Paul Henry as a new candidate. And today he was asked to participate in a game while being interviewed on Radio Hauraki. And his comments seem to have offended Labour's deputy leader, Carmel Sepuloni.
He's a professional TV personality. He should understand that there is a way of pivoting away from questions... Not answering them, particularly when they are inappropriate questions, all will lead to inappropriate answers.
But ACT's deputy leader, Nicole McKee, has come to his defence.
I for one would probably not play that game because I'm a licensed firearm owner, but he was playing a game and I think that we need to have a look at it in that context. I mean, at the end of the day, if people were taking seriously his first comment, they'd need to take seriously who he would shag, Winston Peters, and who he'd marry, being the Prime Minister as well. Another remark drawing attention today from ACT candidate Paul Henry. Labour saying with political leaders targeted around the world, Paul Henry should know better. He has to recognise that there are power in words and when you are a member of parliament or a want-to-be member of parliament, your words can Act's David Seymour calling that manufactured outrage, while the Prime Minister's also not losing too much sleep.
I don't think New Zealanders would take tremendous offence from that, not all New Zealanders. The Act candidate and ex-broadcaster was asked on Radio Hauraki to assign which leader of Labour, NZ First and National he'd rather shoot, shag or marry. Henry chose shoot for Chris Hipkins, which a Labour MP has described as a death threat. Senior National MP Chris Bishop says people shouldn't take it seriously.
It's obviously not literal. It's a game, as I think most people know. It's a bit weird for a guy in his 60s to be playing it.
